We met on a Tuesday
It was a queue for a fire alarm outside an office on Farringdon Road, and neither of us worked in the building. Nine years, two flats and one very slow dog later, we are getting married at the mill where Ivo's grandparents were married in 1961.
There is more of this than anyone needs, and we have written it down anyway.

Harnaby Mill
A working flour mill until 1974, on the Harn below Little Harnaby. The ceremony is in the yard if it is dry and in the grain floor if it is not; either way it is the same eighty chairs and the same draught.

What to wear
Whatever you would wear to a good lunch. Suits without ties are right, dresses are right, a kilt would be welcome. There is no colour we have asked people to avoid.
The yard is gravel and the field beyond it is a field, so bring shoes you can stand up in for six hours. It will be colder at ten than you expect.

One sheet, cut seven ways
The whole suite comes off a single sheet of sage card and a single sheet of sand: the invitation, the enclosures, the reply card and the chips the photographs are printed on. Each piece is trimmed a step narrower than the one behind it, which is why the wording on this page gets smaller as you go down it — the words never change, only the card they have to fit.
